A Canadian passport holder can normally visit the Schengen Area without a short-stay visa for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period.

For every day of the visit, count that day and the previous 179 calendar days. The total must not exceed 90.
Arrival and departure
Both the arrival day and departure day count as Schengen presence days.
Extensions
A visa-free stay is not automatically extendable. Exceptional extensions are decided by the responsible national authority.
