Netherlands stay days for Belarus passport holders

For Belarus passport holders travelling to Netherlands: An ordinary passport requires a visa. A lawfully admitted short-stay visitor is subject to the shared 90-day rolling Schengen ceiling and any shorter visa allowance. The national route and exceptional extension limit are supported.

Key facts

Permitted stay
90 days
How days count
Up to 90 days in a rolling 180 days window. Follow the official counting rules below.
Arrival and departure
An ordinary passport requires a visa unless a separate documented exemption applies. For a lawfully admitted short-stay visitor, the shared Schengen ceiling is 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Count arrival and departure days; the visa sticker may allow fewer days and a visa does not itself guarantee admission.
Extensions
An exceptional extension can allow a maximum total of 180 days. A visa initially shorter than 90 days normally extends only to 90; an extension beyond 90 is exceptional and valid only in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Apply while lawfully present and provide proof of the unexpected reason, resources, insurance and valid travel document. The extension is not automatic; force majeure, humanitarian or serious personal grounds must be shown under the applicable rule.
